I think it’s safe to say that leather is truly one of those year-round items that many of us love having in our closets.  When I was younger it seems like it was more of a fashion faux-paux to wear leather in the warmer months, but now you pretty much see leather all the time, just in new and fun ways.  For example…

My particular favorites are the cropped leather pants and the leather shirt dress.  Now, we are all entitled to our own opinion when it comes to wearing leather and some prefer not to wear it for a variety of reasons.  For those who don’t want to purchase leather but still like the look of leather, there’s options to fit you as well.  Some call it pleather, some call it fleather, but the bottom line is it’s faux leather and is typically a fraction of the price of what real leather will run you.

Madonna and Co is a boutique in the heart of SoHo that offers high quality exclusive designs, vintage pieces, and exciting mixes of fabrics. Everything is easy to wear, yet sophisticated, feminine, but, inspired by the art of edgy fashion details.  Something I thought was pretty interesting is that Madonna and Co offers capsule collections from designers that are not at the masses, so that chances that you’ll see yourself walking down the street are slim.  Take a look at two of my favorite leather pieces…
