I have entered the potty training zone.  Jaxon’s now 2 1/2 and I probably should have been more vigilant about training him before but now that he’s tell me, “I Boo Boo”, I think that means I need to get on it.  A friend of mine told me a trick she’s begun to use with her 2 1/2 year old.  Shooting Cheerios.  It’s a game for daddy and son and well the name kinda speaks for itself.  You put about 3 Cheerios in the bowl of the potty and you tell son to aim for the Cheerios.  Daddy does it in the big potty and son does it in the little potty beside him.  Sounds easy enough, right?  For some reason I can imagine a Cheerio surprise for me to clean on the bathroom walls, but if it means getting this kid out of diapers I’m willing to give it a shot.  Your prayers are appreciated.  

I can probably speak for most “9to5ers” when I say I’m sure glad the 4th of July is here.  An extra day is an extra day\ and I’ll take it.  This week I never quite got it together.  Every day I left the house a little late then I had planned to and arrived to work a little later than I ought to.  Ugh!  I’m a stickler for being on time.  Tardiness BUGS me.  I was always taught that actions speak louder than words and when you’re late you’re telling the person who’s waiting for you that your time is more important than theirs.  What a terrible impression to make.  This is why most mornings you’ll find me putting on mascara at one stop light and applying lip gloss at the next.  My daily make-up routine begins when I step foot in the car and if I’m lucky I’m finished by the time I get out.  I should probably rethink this whole getting ready in the car thing.
