Do you ever get tired of being Mr. Nice Guy? Okay, maybe it’s just me, but I do. Especially when it seems like my niceness isn’t justified, nor appreciated. Then…I remember Colossians 3:23 says, “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men.” And the pity party ends and niceness resumes.

It’s strange but I am preparing something about giving until it hurts in my blog,My Other World. Ican be a generous person of myself and material things but I stop when it’s not appreciated. Then I don’t think I’m doing so people any good.
This really spoke to me especially working in the educational world. Most days I feel underappreciated & disrespected but my mom always says exactly what you wrote…as unto the Lord. Can’t lie, some days that’s very very hats but I trust His plan. I have a Christmasy thrifted sweater & usually wear it once a yet with jeans but you just inspired me. Thanks

Awww Shanna! I just updated the post. I never know if girls even read that part. Half of it is I don’t remember what the brand is or where I got it from. The other half of the time, what I’m wearing is thrifted. LOL
