If being a mom is one thing, it’s interesting. There’s never dull moment. As you may know, I have two little ones, Jaxon, will be 3 at the end of this month and Julia will be 2 at the end of May. We hear over and over how bright Julia is for her age and I find that I’m always surprised by what she’s saying or doing. Tonight during bath time, as Jaxon was standing in the stairwell enjoying his “freedom”, I thought it appropriate to talk about the parts of the body. I pointed and said, “Jaxon is a boy. He has a penis.” Julia looked, pointed and shouted “A peanuts”!
Well, we’re off to Nashville for a week. Wish us luck!

I got these jeans about 3 years ago. They were a little big then an they’re a little big now but instill can’t let them go. I love them.
Love the look! Love the “peanuts”! Glad to see I am not the only parent who, feels it is important to teach the anatomical name and not “pee-pee” or “wee-wee”.
I guess I just didn’t want to confuse them or make them feel like they should be ashamed of their private parts. Protective…yes. Ashamed…no.. It is what it is.
